Hui-Ping Lee

2nd Violin Coach

Hui-Ping Lee is a Los Angeles–based violinist and violist originally from Taipei.
She studied with Professor Kuang-Lin Peng at Soochow University and later earned her master’s degree in performance from the Aaron Copland School of Music at CUNY,
studying under Daniel Phillips of the Orion String Quartet.
​During her time in New York, she also deepened her viola studies and performed chamber music at Carnegie Weill Hall in 2006.
Praised for her warm tone and expressive interpretations, she is an active soloist, chamber musician, and member of Saltando Strings, performing across Southern California.
Passionate about education, she also mentors young musicians and engages in interdisciplinary collaborations that draw inspiration from nature and everyday life.
