Morgan Burtner

2nd Violin Coach

Morgan Burtner is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance at the Bob Cole
Conservatory of Music at California State University at Long Beach, under the teachings of Moni
Simeonov. She spent 11 years with the West Coast Classical Community Orchestra, both as a
member and subsequently as a coach and teacher.
With this orchestra, she performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angelus, and at multiple venues in Europe. She has also performed with the Southern California School Band and Honors Orchestra.
She works as a freelance musician in Los Angeles, performing in chamber ensembles, symphony orchestras, and opera companies.
She offers violin lessons through the Huntington Beach School of Music and privately across both Los Angeles and Orange County.
