Melissa St. Thomas

Melissa St. Thomas, Rome, NY native, currently enjoys a career as a freelance studio musician and flute teacher in Los Angeles. A graduate of Youngstown State University, she holds a BM in Flute Performance and has had the privilege of performing in masterclasses for Marianne Gedigian, Jeffrey Khaner, and Tim Lane. Melissa has performed with the MidAmerica Productions National Collegiate Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall, the American Wind Symphony Orchestra in a tour of the Great Lakes, and most recently, she can be heard on albums for Alice Cooper and Macy Gray.
Melissa is quite passionate about teaching and having a positive impact on kids and teens through music. She is a teaching artist for Harmony Project and also teaches privately. Melissa considers herself lucky to have the opportunity to make music and to share it with others through both playing and teaching. |
